Dark pearls look great dangling so these drops are long, elegant pendulums. The old stock pearls are dark iridescent or ‘Peacock’ pearls. The hue shifts with the light and they will go with everything. Set in Fine silver, the pendulums are carved with undulating levels that throw light like soft facets. Sterling Silver drops hold them to the Sterling Silver Earring Wires.
The pearls are old stock purchased between 25-30 years ago. These are dark, cultured pearls are approximately 6.5mm set in Fine Silver. The earrings are fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
