The Angel Wing Plume Agate is from the far reaches of Eastern Oregon, Graveyard Point area. This 20mm x 24mm Agate is left backless to let the sun shine through. The Crystal Opal is old stock that I purchased about 25-30 years ago directly from the Australian miner. The ensemble is set in Fine Silver with a Sterling Silver hoop and bail as well as hook and loop closure on the 3.5mm, approx. 18” Greek leather cord. In the case of a large pendant like this, I could see transferring it to a long necklace to be worn with dresses, sweaters, and scarves through the chilly months. The pendant hangs from bail to bottom approx. 2 inches. These stones were sourced in Oregon, hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
