Angel, Holley, and Amethyst Ring
Angel, Holley, and Amethyst Ring
Like nature unfolding a wing, this Angel Wing Plume Agate unfurled with Amethyst and Holley Blue Agate to make this ring. The high domed, generously sized Angel Wing Plume Agate from Graveyard Point, Oregon has detailed white plumes through clear agate. A rare Holley Blue Agate glows in lavender tones at the bottom while a Washington Amethyst displays purple through lavender variants above. Undulating, carved Fine Silver finishes the setting placed upon a Sterling Silver, sized 7.5 band.
The Plume Agate is left open backed in its Fine Silver and setting to let the light shine through. The base of the ring is hand carved Fine Silver and the band is 18 gauge Sterling Silver for durability. These stones were sourced in Oregon (except for the Washington Amethyst that was brought to me by a friend), hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
