Angel and Thunder Agate Ring
Angel and Thunder Agate Ring
This Angel is surrounded by Thunder (egg agate, that is). Delicate Angel plumes reach out through the clear, triangular, Graveyard Point Agate sprinkled with black mineral contrasts. The top Thunder Egg Agate is hot red with crimson edges in both Jasper and Agate ribbons from the Priday Bed. The bottom stone is an eggplant to maroon Rhyolite from Owyhee Thunder Egg. All are combined by Fine Silver that is carved into undulating topography like where these stones are found. The 18 gauge Sterling Silver band wraps these beauties around your 6 3/4-7 sized finger.
The Plume Agate is left open backed in its Fine Silver and setting to let the light shine through. The base of the ring is hand carved Fine Silver and the band is 18 gauge Sterling Silver for durability. These stones were sourced in Oregon, hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
