From the far East reaches of Oregon wilderness comes some of the sweetest Pink Plume Agate know to my eyes. White and pink Angel Wings grow through blush tinted agate that is warm and neutral so these earrings will go with everything. Add Fine Silver stacked asymmetrically on Copper, then carved and sculpted, to create a mixed metal topography that gives light all sorts of terrain to glitter and shine. Sterling Silver earring wires dangle these beauties from your ears.
The Plume Agates are left open backed in their Fine Silver settings and Copper base to let the light shine through. The Fine Silver is stacked and sculpted on the copper to create the topography around the stones. The earring wires are Sterling Silver, 21 gauge for comfort. These stones were sourced in Oregon, hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
