This piece was inspired by recent research about the Exotic Terranes building the Pacific Coast over the course of hundreds of millions of years. The metals represent the movement of tectonic plates and the land masses that they create. The stones become gems in situ through volcanic activity and pressure. They can reveal to us elaborate stories about what happened where they lay. This Central Oregon Moss Agate, Oregon Sunstone, and Blue Mountain Serpentinite each have a different tale to tell about different locations around the state. Their structure is made with Copper, hammered appropriately as time would do to the land, that is married to Sterling and Fine Silver to build the topography of the cuff style bracelet. Wear the earth’s marvels on your wrist.

This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We ship ASAP. Most of the time, we can get your package into the mail next day (and up to 3 business days). We use priority USPS and they’ve been speedy in delivery time ahead of the holidays (usually 1 to 5 business days travel time depending on where you are).
