Holley Blue for You
Holley Blue for You
Here’s a rare, lavender-through-purple Holley Blue Agate for you!. Delicate fortification lines ribbon their way through this clear, dome-finished cabochon from my ‘friend-stone’ collection. Set open backed, you can see the light illuminate it, making it glow and it puts you into closer touch with the stone. Fine Silver is stacked and sculpted in an artistic, asymmetrical frame around the Fine Silver setting and Sterling Silver holds this radiant pretty to your size 8 finger.
The Holley Blue Agate, from the West Cascades, Oregon, is left open backed in its Fine Silver and setting to let the light shine through. The base of the ring is hand carved Fine Silver and the band is 18 gauge Sterling Silver for durability. This stone was sourced in Oregon (by a friend and given to me), hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
