Ancient Geometry in Moss Agate
Ancient Geometry in Moss Agate
A clear Moss Agate triangle with evergreen branches is nestled in a hand hewn, hammered open sided triangle. Balancing the angles is a 5mm Moss Agate circle with intense green dendrites. A collision of two bodies of work, the music of Polyphony meets the Contemporary Tribal, this piece hearkens back to the feeling of ancient times with fresh appeal.
Fine Silver settings hold these stones to a Fine and Sterling Silver body and bail. The back of the triangle stone is cut out to let the light through the stone to highlight its detail. This pendant comes with a 1.5 mm Greek Leather cord, measuring about 18 inches, and is held to your neck with a hand made Sterling Silver hook and loop clasp. All of the stones were sourced in Oregon, hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
