These Oregon Plume Agates were collected, cut and shaped by Steve and Karen Britt. The gemstones are approximately 8mm and are set into Fine Silver Bezels. The hoop itself is roughly 22mm made from heavy gauge hammered copper that is shined to a liquid luster. The over all length of the earring (hanging from the earring hole) is about 36mm or about 1 1/2 inches. The earring wires are ‘French fish hook’ style with wound copper embellishments for the perfect touch of detail. The Copper is not treated (you don’t want to have contact with those chemicals!) so they will pick of lovely hues of patina if you let them oxidize. They are also easy to clean and keep ‘shiny penny’ by soap and water washing with a jewelry cleaning cloth polish/finish. This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We ship ASAP. Most of the time, we can get your package into the mail next day (and up to 3 business days). We use priority USPS and they’ve been consistent in delivery time (usually a day to a week travel time depending on where you are). As aforementioned, you’ll have a tracking number so you can anticipate the arrival.
