The Obsidian is from Central Oregon and contains Magnetite in such a way that the Pink and Green Sheen is created. In some cases, this would be considered an Aurora or Rainbow style of Obsidian though the sheen is gentle and more of an hombre. The stone is carved by Karen Britt and is just shy of 1 1/4” long. It is held with a Sterling Silver prong setting that leaves much of the back ‘open’ so the light may play all the way through the stone. The entire pendant is approx. 2” long and can be worn with any of your favorite chains while it is hung for immediate wearing from a 17” Greek Leather Cord with Sterling Silver hook and loop clasp.

This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We use priority USPS and they’ve been speedy in delivery time ahead of the holidays (usually 1 to 4 business days travel time depending on where you are).
