Moss Agate Architecture
Moss Agate Architecture
Here’s some Spring Green for you! Moss Agate from Central Oregon that is a variety of mid-emerald green hues fingering their way through clear Agate. Architecture inn Fine Silver unfurls around the stones like the movement of the sun dial towards warmer times. These earrings are left open backed so the sun can shine through and hang from your ears with Sterling Silver wires.
We found these beautifully detailed Moss Agates in Central Oregon. They were hand ‘lapped’ (or the lapidary) by Karen Britt. The earring body is entirely Fine Silver stacked and carved to create the undulating flow of texture. The earrings are fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
