Agates have such a huge variety of characteristics due to the way they are formed. In this case, this ‘Tube Agate’ formed striations of red minerals coursing through the clear and blue tinted agate like lighting through the air. A unique specimen of Eastern Oregon Agate, this gem deserved an ‘Embrace’ style setting in Sterling Silver so the entire stone can be observed and enjoyed.
This 1.8 mm Greek Leather cord, measuring about 18 inches, is held to your neck with a hand made Sterling Silver hook and loop clasp. All of the stones were sourced in Oregon, hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
