We ventured all over Oregon and a bit of Nevada to bring you these stones. The main stone is Graveyard Point Plume Agate that has a gorgeous sparkling druzy field and was hand polished to preserve that while giving a window to other parts of the stone. For this, the claw prong style setting was created to leave the most amount of the stone ‘open’ to allow for the admiring of as much of the gem as possible. The body of the jewelry is about 44mm long or 1 3/4” with a base created of both copper and Sterling Silver. The Pink Chalcedony on the upper right is from Nevada and is about 6mm, left open backed so you can see illumination through the stone. Richardson’s Ranch Thunderegg from the Priday Bed is the little glowing 4mm gem on the lower right. A natural dark cultured pearl is set at the bottom of the piece balancing the over all composition and color play. The Viking Weave Necklace his held with hook and loop closure and patinated with ‘liver of sulfur’. The length of this statement necklace is 18” plus the length of the piece, perfect for wearing over winter wear and just as stunning with a tank top come summer.

This piece was fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We use priority USPS and they’ve been speedy in delivery time ahead of the holidays (usually 1 to 5 business days travel time depending on where you are).
