Tame your tresses with function and style with these oak hair sticks. These hand sanded and carved sticks are embellished at the top with Turquoise, Malachite, and a coconut wood top bead. The wood is treated with walnut oil to bring out the beautiful oak glow and add to the longevity of the hair sticks.
These oak hair sticks are hand sanded and carved to a tip to fit perfectly into your hair and hold it with strength and style. We use walnut oil to preserve the wood and bring out the beautiful glow of the oak (and it’s non toxic!). The Turquoise discs are a wonderful mint green with chocolate chip matrix. The Malachite chips are deep evergreen and have the variation of green striations going through. The coconut ‘wood’ is actually the shell or hull of the coconut and all these embellishments are totally natural and untreated. These sticks are a hair (no pun) under 5 inches and the stack at the top put them around 5 1/4 inches long. These are a full inch shorter than some of the other sticks which makes them best for smaller buns or hiding most of the stick in a larger bun with the pretty stacks poking out.
Each pair of hair sticks comes in its own travel bag so you can take your sticks on every adventure you go on (from the grocery store to the wild frontiers). The all-cotton canvas bags are made in house and are made from locally sourced materials. We feel better sending to you reusable shipping supplies that won’t be headed for the landfills and are biodegradable. Plus these great canvas bags protect your pretty sticks from the other contents of your purse, backpack, or whatever you tote your gear with. Since the bags are hand made here in the studio, each one varies (not necessarily the exact one in the picture). This bag makes the whole package perfect for a thoughtful and useful gift. Bumble bees and flowers not included (of course).
