We ventured out to the Sunstone mines in Eastern Oregon to fetch these Sunstones ourselves just for you. They were polished as cabochons and set in Fine silver. The setting is left open backed so you can enjoy their glow even more. Fine Silver and Copper were smithed together like tectonic plates throughout the body of the earrings to create a dramatic asymmetrical design. The mixed metals create a warm and varied shimmer around the 7mm Sunstones. The body of the earring is approx 33mm with a drop with the Sterling Silver Earring Wires of about 50mm or roughly 2” from your earring hole. These earrings are light while commanding some great space! Each weighs in at 2.3 grams, the same as a dime!

These earrings were fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.

We use priority USPS and they’ve been speedy in delivery time (usually 1 to 5 business days travel time depending on where you are).
