Like the sun setting on a rose petal, this pendant has a vibrant schiller Oregon Sunstone perched on a spectacular piece of Graveyard Point Plume Agate featuring a glimmering druzy pocket. Fine and Sterling Silver gracefully holds this blushing scene together that hangs from your neck from a hand woven Sterling Silver Viking Weave chain.
This spectacularly detailed plume agate was mined, cut, and polished by Karen Britt. You can see the intricate fortification lines in whites, yellows, and reds leading into the quartz crystal druzy pocket in the middle. Those colors join the pink body color dancing their way in cloudlike patterns throughout the stone. Above, perched like the sun, is a radiant peach/pink schiller Oregon Sunstone. Karen Britt also mined and faceted this stone with great care.
The plume agate measures about 26mm or roughly 1” long, and about 13mm wide or .5”. The Sunstone is about 5mm and the over all length of the piece from bale to bottom is 38mm or 1.5” long.
The ensemble is set in Fine and Sterling silver, both stones left open backed for light to shine through and ease of cleaning. The hand woven Viking Weave chain is 18” with sterling silver hook and loop closure.
