History of 'Ozone Fine Art-Ventures'?

For nearly10 years, Ozone Fine Art operated as a fine art gallery that featured local Oregon artists in over 2000 square gorgeous feet of gallery space overlooking the Yaquina Bay. We closed the gallery doors for the last time October, 2020 with intention to open in another spot at some point soon. Then Covid hit.

Old Digs for 9 Years

Perched on the second story of the Abby Street Pier building on the historic Bayfront in Newport, Ozone Fine Art proudly displayed predominantly ‘originals only’ artwork from local artisans. It was a working studio for Karen Britt in paint, print, lapidary, and jewelry making media.

original Mission

It was our delight and ambition to expose folks of all ages to different forms of art appreciation and education. Live demonstrations, presentations, receptions, and concerts were a part of giving these opportunities to visiting and local public.

Value in Experience

At the Ozone, there were interactive art projects that coincided with the different art shows that were open to anyone desiring to be part of the art. Sometimes all you need is an invitation to embark on an Art-Venture!

Great Memories

The gallery was a place of beauty, expressed by the local community reflecting our environment. It is deeply missed but new ventures are on the horizon!

Art Then and Now

Ozone Fine Art was established in 2010 by Karen Britt and Bruce Johnson for the love of art. Look at her here with her flat lap happily working stones right in the gallery. We still create and show, here on the website, and any ‘land’ appearances, Trunk Sales, shows, etc. will be listed on the EVENTS page.
