The Sterling Silver hoops are hand hammered and formed to nest the Fine Silver set pearls. The silver-blue sheen cultured, 4mm button pearls are old stock, from Tucson Gem Show (between 25-30 years ago). The earring body is approximately 3/4 of an inch tall with the over all earring (with earring wire) hanging approx 1 1/3”. The french earring wires, or hooks, are Sterling Silver. One of the best things about hoops is that they take up a lot of visual space while being very light weight. Each earring is approximately 1.7 grams while a dime is 2.2 grams, that’s light!

This is one of Karen Britt’s only recurrent themed earring styles, because it’s such a favorite! The earrings are entirely made, start to finish, by Karen. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
