A Rose by Any Other...
This Pink Plume Agate from the Central East border of Oregon was plucked from the high desert like a rose. Swirling shades of pink are joined by sunshine yellow, clear and white agate. Glimmering like dew drops on its petals, this stone is graced by a Quartz Crystal Druzy seam through the center. The surrounding silver landscape is hand carved Fine and Sterling silver with a Sterling Silver band to poise this rock rose to your 8.75 sized finger.
The Plume Agate is left open backed in its Fine Silver setting to let the light shine through. The stone was sourced in Oregon, hand polished, and the setting fabricated from scratch by Karen Britt. Each piece is a one of a kind piece of art, because no two stones are the same and the settings are created by hand, no two pieces are the same (even the earrings). It should be mentioned that all stones are used in their natural state; never dyed or heated to change their appearance. All the metals used are either recycled or fair, humane trade verified and all components used in the jewelry will return to the earth leaving no footprint. Thank you for enjoying the art.
